The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lilla Cotton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: It is a painful thing to lose a precious love one in death, regardless of how long they have lived. Even Jesus wept when Lazarus died (John 11:35) and it pains our loving Heavenly Father, too. He did not purpose his human family to grow old and die but purpose us to live and enjoy life. It is still his purpose (Psalm 37:11, 29). He calls death an enemy that will be removed forever__1 Corinthians 15:26 “the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” He promised to awaken our love ones in the memorial tombs from asleep in death__ Hosea 13:14 “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them.” Our love one will return to youthfulness__ Job 33:24,25 “Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.” Then our loving Creator will “satisfy the desire of every living thing” (Psalms 145:16). What a delight it will be to see them again to enjoy life as our Creator purposed! Allow these words to keep comforting all of you.

Condolence: I am sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one Lilla. It is so comforting that in the Bible at Revelation 21:3-4 Jehovah God promises a time when sickness and death will be no more. Also at John 5:28 & 29 shows that the dead will live again. They will be raised from the memorial tombs here on earth. Hope this helps some during this difficult time. For more comforting info, go to www dot JW dot org . This was comfort for me during a time when I lost a loved one.
