Obituary

Mother Bettye Rosalee Williams-Goode, was born February 24, 1956 in Henderson, North Carolina to the late Annie O. Williams and Clemmon Williams. She was the third of three children. Preceding her in death was her loving daughter, Monica Darlene Goode and husband Andrew Daniel Goode.

Bettye grew up in Richmond, Virginia where she was Baptized and received the Spirit of God at the age of 10 years old at Sharon Baptist Church.

Bettye graduated with Honors from James Madison High School She furthered her education by attending and graduating from Lanier Technical College, and later studied at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Bettye worked as an Instructional Assistant for Exceptional Education for 20 years throughout the City of Richmond, Virginia. She also Volunteered with McGuire Veterans Hospital for Cardiac Patient Care.

Mother Goode is survived by her only son, Andrew DuVon Goode; her siblings, Deborah Diane Williams, Clemon Reginald Williams and Prentiss R. Williams; Sister-in-law, Patricia Callahan; niece and nephew, Curtis and Catrice; Pastor Larry L. Snipes of Greater Power and Glory, Ron Guiles and a host of other family and friends.
