Ms. Lillie Mae Hill affectionately known as “Rabbit” was born on January 1, 1922 in Franklin, Georgia to the late Ann Johnson. She was the eldest of seven kids.

At an early age Lille Mae was baptized and dedicated her life to serving God. She attended Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and Life Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a faithful member serving in the choir, Courtesy Guild, Mother Board, and was a member of the Pastor’s Aide until her health prevented her from attending church regularly. She was very fond of her Pastor A. J. McMichael and ensured he always had juice and peppermints in his office.

Lillie Mae was a woman of great strength and a hard worker. She was witty, loving, caring, and had a great sense of humor. She really enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and hosting her Annual Christmas Breakfast for her family and anyone that stopped by.
