Pauline H. Leverette, R.N., was born May 28, 1939 in Lafayette, Alabama to the late Eddie B. Holloway and Wheeler Mae Vines Holloway. Pauline was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Pauline graduated from Chambers County High School in the Class of 1958. She then went on to marry her late husband, William Lee Leverette, in 1958. To this union one daughter was born; the late Barbara L. Cook.
Pauline and her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she attended Chattahoochee Technical College and obtained her Science in Nursing Degree. She went to work as a registered nurse for Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia for many years until her retirement in 2005.
Pauline was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Atlanta. In her free time, she regularly attended classes at QLS to fellowship with other retired seniors. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family. Pauline loved to have a good time and enjoyed listening to Blues music. She was best known for helping others and for her outgoing personality. She will truly be missed by all.
Pauline entered into eternal rest on the evening of June 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie B. Holloway and Wheeler Mae Vines Holloway; husband, William Lee Leverette; daughter, Barbara L. Cook; and siblings, Joe Holloway, Dan Holloway, Robert Holloway, Rapen Holloway, Henry Mackey, Christine Mackey, Annie Mackey, and Robert Mackey
Pauline leaves to cherish her memory, her grandson, Korey J. Cook; his wife, Amia B. Cook; her four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Malachi, MaKayla, and Cash Cook; siblings Carmel Ware, Charles Mackey, Dennis Mackey, and Donny Mackey; in-laws, Linda Holloway and Helen Holloway; nieces & nephews, Rachelle Holloway, Ricardo Holloway, Tasha Holloway, Annie Ware, Angela Russell, Nichol Ware, Jameka Holloway, Bruce Holloway, Valerie Holloway, and Shauna Holloway; her adopted family, Sanjanette Warren, Carlos Hughley, Eddie Warren, and Rickey Martin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
